The breed was vprivezena in 1884, from its habitat British General, Mr. Owen Gould for his sister, Mrs. Veley (who went on to be a co-founder of the Siamese Cat Club in 1901). A small number of cats brought in for several years, and together they formed a breeding pool base for the entire breed in the UK.
As a result, thousands of generations of selection and competitive pressures are now actually two subbreeds Siamese - Siamese show modern and traditional or "apple head" Siamese. Modern Show Siamese were bred to be extremely elongated bodies with thin to the point of exhaustion, and the Y-shaped head with a very long snout and very large "bat wing" ears. Traditional Siamese much stronger, with a round head and ears more in proportion to their size. Siamese cats often have a kink in their tails, because the original breeders saw that as a unique characteristic of the breed. In recent years, kinked tail was considered "negative" and breeders largely destroyed him from the show Siamese. Both breeds Siamese have almond-shaped eyes and, like all Oriental cats they are very talkative and demand attention. They often will attract attention, and choose one person in the family. How do they "talkative", they can meow loud enough to compete with the rescue equipment. Siamese cats are generally considered to be very intelligent, and their behavior usually shows it.
